Estimados Amigos,
Ayer a la mañana salí con destino al sur desde Rosario, paré en San Antonio de Areco para tomar unos mates y descansar y la disco no arrancó. Tengo un puente en el inmovilizador y vigía.
Burro ok, batería ok, alternador ok, combustible ok, filtro de combustible ok.
En seguida pensé que era un problema de combustible, abrí el primer inyector y escupió combustible.
Hice el clásico puente de la batería a el solenoide y nada.
Entonces lo llamé a Roberto Achino de Rosario y me oriento en la distancia como pudo pero me contactó con José Luis de San Antonio de Areco que no dudó un segundo y me asistió. (Muchísimas gracias Roberto y José luis!!!)
Jose Luis hizo chequeó todo y también con el tester, aconsejó junto a Roberto, sacar el solenoide y revisarlo. Justo
Vino un tormentos y la madre que duro 2 horas. No alcanzamos a sacar nada.
Luego probé y arrancó. Hice 500 kilómetros y todo anda bien. Parece que es un problema intermitente.
Ahora las dudas:
Unos días antes la disco al cortar la llave seguía andando. ??? Luego no permite otro día que el combustible pase. Por lo tanto da toda la impresión que es el solenoide. Pero he leído en un foro la misma situación!!! Cambia el solenoide y sigue el mismo problema.
Alguien paso por lo mismo?

I'm new to the LRO Club but have had my beloved 300TDi [1996] since new and am still in awe of it!

However I have the problem of the stop solenoid in the injector pump intermittently jamming and causing the engine to either not start or being unable to shut off.
I had the "Black Box" {Spider] modification fitted some 2 years ago and for a while all was fine.
When the sonenoid sticks there is still 12volts across the terminal at the top of the solenoid with the ignition on.
I have dismantled it from the main injector pump and cleaned it and then replaced it with a new solenoid with the same result!

I am thinking that this fault is due to "swarf" or dirt from the tank getting into the injector pump body[ after perusing the LRO and other LR Websites] but have also been told by another LR Mechanic that the Injector Pump must be serviced again and the problem has been caused by paint thinners being added to some dodgy fuel in the past and this has caused the parts in the Injector Pump to lose some of their coating.
If this is true however the vehicle has done well over 5000kms without the injector pump failing.
Would fitting a very fine filter before the injector pump and thoroughly cleaning out the tank and bowl filter fix the fault ?? This has been going on for too long. Thanks for your thoughts in advance

MMM TEMA JODIDO EL DEL GASOIL ARGENTINOOO , A MI EL BOMBISTA ME DIJO PONELE EURO PERO NO TAN SEGUIDO RESECA TODO ADENTRO Y EL ING GARIBALDI TE DICE QUE EL TIENE UNA 4X4 99 Y LE HECHA SIEMPRE EURO QUE ES LO MEJOR Y EL GASOIL GRADO 2 LE SACAN AZUFRE Y LE SUBEN EL BIODIESEL COMO LUBRICANTE NO SE SI ES TAN BUENO COMO EL AZUFRE O SEA QUE NO SABES QUE HECHARLE ARGENTINA DE 4TA

EL BOMBISTA ME RECOMENDO 2T O ACEITE NAUTICO PARA AGREGARLE AL GASOIL COMUN Y NO CARGAR YPF ESTA ROMPIENDO LAS BOMBAS INYECTORAS TDI ,CARGAR ESSO O SHELL ,SALUDOS
